The Aquacize community pool program is directed towards our age 55 plus population. Many of the participants have had a prior musculoskeletal or arthritic condition which prevents them from exercising in a normal gym setting. Water exercise is a great way to reduce the force through the joints and allow for a comfortable and beneficial approach to staying in shape.
Classes are currently held every Tuesday and Thursday at various times throughout the day. Each class lasts for approximately 50-60 minutes. You do not need to know how to swim to be a participant, however, being comfortable in a water environment is a must.
